As I was developing these stamps, I came up with a message that I wanted to portray. For the United stamp I wanted to show a form of being united, with a bridge spanning a gap to United the Land and cities it connects. Then with the Dali elephants I wanted to show linking together to get something done. For the States stamp I did not want to show the states and the boundaries that are defined, I wanted it to represent a the States of minds that we all have about our own lives and country. With the America stamp I was trying to find a fun way to show that as Americans we all have different backgrounds and that in the end we are all mixed together.
